It's been a long time since Peter and I went to the restaurant. So we did it again tonight, it was nice, I like trying on new things. The restaurant wasn't the greatest but it was ok. Of course the most important was to be with him --->

I went to Lille to do some housework and as I walked I saw that 2 clothes shop had good sales so I bought myself 2 tops and 1 pair of brown pants that are gorgeous. I love the material and all..
I also went to one of my favorite shop and they do a huge sale: 5 clothes for the price of one!!! So I'm gonna go back tomorrow with Karyne. It's gonna be fun! 
Today I also went to the doctor and she told me I have a virus and this is less fun: I have to do a lot of exams to know what it is and where it comes from. I'm so stressed about it 
but I'd rather do the exams than be sick.
You can also congratulate me because I just found out that I passed my 3rd year of English studies 
I'm so so happy about it! I really thought I would fail and redo the last exams but no thanks to my sweety who made me work hard during the holidays and to his help with Dutch which helped really a lot to make me pass my year.
Unfortunately I didn't pass my 2nd year (Don't you also think that's weird to have the 3rd and hardest year and not the 2nd?) I have to redo one exam: British civilisation or literature (Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde & MacBeth). I have a month to study and I plan on passing this f*cking exam.

The meeting didn't last very long but they said everything that had to be said. Ok I didn't understand a word (perhaps 4 or 5 lol) but I knew what they were talking about
After a while a friend of Peter called Jan (say Jean "à la française"), came and they all made jokes and play on words about kidney stones, that was hilarious. I didn't understand anything but there is a guy, Kenny who has a very very communicative laugh so I couldn't help!! lol
After the meeting we went to another pub called "The Saloen" and it was nice there, it's a very popular pub during carnaval.
We went again to help for the carnaval car this afternoon and this time I put some foam rubber on the windows. That was a meticulous job and Davy said I did it well Peter was proud
Here on the picture they try to put one of the characters to see how it goes. But it was too heavy so they decided to put another one.
The bus is almost done as for the building of it. Now it needs to be papered and painted. And some other little things.
The costumes are not done yet but Wendy (who you can see on the pic above) is making them with her mother.

That was quite a day today!! We helped with the carnaval car and it was nice doing something for it. Even if I'm not really gonna take part of the carnaval, I like helping them do some stuff.
So today I hammered some nails anywhere needed, it was fun! I really enjoyed helping around.
I also helped Peter with some cutting, well I just held the wood straight so he could cut it lol
It was quite cold but as long as I was doing something it was okay.
It's now time to go to the carnaval meeting with Peter: I put on my new skirt that he got ma last week with my new 10 euros boots, it looks pretty nice

We came home at around 5:30 and we slept until 3 in the afternoon.
Peter and I had a headache but we took a warm bath and that was very relaxing.
Now we're gonna watch tv and won't go to bed too late because tomorrow my train is at 6:57am! OEI! lol

This is "pies" in Dutch
Today Peter and I delivered them to everybody who asked for one or more. His carnaval group sells them to get some money for the costumes and the truck. That was a lot of work, a bit tiring but so kool when we see the benefit the carnaval group gets from those sales. And I even got a new coat out of it, nice isn't it?
At night we went to a party so that the candidates for Prince Carnaval could show what they can do and sing carnaval songs. That was fun even if I didn't understand a word and was quite tired towards the end! lol
