Not alone anymore

The 3 people who "share" the house with me arrived monday and tuesday (even though I wasn't informed of that by the renter): there are a French boy and two Polish girls. They seem quite nice and they understood at once there were problems in the house. We love the rooms but it's downstairs that there is so much work undone like a missing heater in the bathroom, a lack of heating as well in the whole house, a broken handle at the entrance door, a bad shower pommel... This is all incongruous: the renters said they would finish everything but they didn't do a single repair or arrangement so that everything would be okay when at least the 3 others arrived!
One of the girl made a joke about it, but it definitely sums up everything: it's like it's "made in China" meaning cheap but not long-lasting. She made it without harm and it was very funny as the renters are indeed Chinese! But no offense because you should see the place!!!

New bedroom

I have more space, more light and bigger furniture! :) How can I wish for more? lol Yesterday I went shopping to find some decoration for my new 15m² (it feels good to say it again and again ;) ) and I decided to do it blue and green, both colors I like at the moment and besides they put blue curtains, so it's just gonna be super kool. I found blue and green butterflies which I'm gonna put between the two windows and between the right window and the door; a map in a shape of a flower: the petals are blue and the center is green. I think I'm gonna put it right in the middle of the room as soon as the stuff is put away. And I found a wreath with green flowers. I think it's gonna be it because if it's too much it's not gonna be nice anymore. I'm also gonna get two bookcases in which I'm gonna be able to put all those books and DVDs of mine ;)
As soon as it's all finished, I'll take a picture with my camera which will be repaired soon. :)

I'm done

Thanks to the huge help of Nadj, I finished clearing my room. Now what's left are the useful things and the fragile stuff so I'm not worried anymore about getting everything out of this teeny tiny room of mine! I'm getting more and more excited by the moment, most of the important to-dos are almost complete such as insurance, housing benefit, bond and security deposit.
So this is all good! yippee

Moving out & in

too many boxes   Here I am again! It's been 5 years I'm studing at the uni and it's been 5 years I'm moving!
This is exciting but at the same time very stressing, especially this time: I'm finally moving out of the eternally uni room, so little I can sometimes hardly breathe and moving in an appartment shared with 3 people I don't know at all. I'm very happy to finally getting out of this 9m², for our health's sake, this is insane to still offer those non-lively rooms, we surely need space! Especially now that technology is so affordable: where do you put you laptop, you printer and your books when you can hardly move in the room! No I think there shoud be a change and they should offer more space without raising the rent of course!! Anyway, I'm finally gonna see what it's like to live with people you don't know and how to cope with it. Which excludes family memebers of course ;) Cos remember, I have 6 brothers and sisters and a half sister!
Btw: I don't know how I managed that but it seems I stored about a houseful in my tiny room! Unbelievable!?! Ask Nadj ;)

Visiting a future home

chut   Today Karyne and I've got an appointment to see a house where we could perhaps go if it's not too expensive and if it's nice. I saw the add yesterday and called Karyne to see whether she was interested. We need to visit of course, we won't accept if we don't see how it is. I expect it's gonna be nice! Let's hope so! ;)

Edit: Karyne is not coming! She finally got to do the studies she longed for years: Sign Language which is gonna be in Belgium! So the 4th comrad is gonna be... a guy! I'm scared! lol
